If you ever did a show run-config on a WLC with a 100 access points then you know where I am going!
A show run config [no-ap] will omit the access point information. Why is this important? Well suppose you have a WiSM with a 150 access points joined to a controller do you want to see 400 pages of configs
of APs when you only want to see the run-config ? BINGO!
